Family Safety features
Improved activity reportsWe've made our activity reports easier to read so it's easier than ever to see what your children have been doing online. Simpler configurationYou no longer need a Windows Live ID for each of your kids to set up Family Safety controls. Your Windows Live ID is all you need to start creating settings to monitor and restrict children's access. Change permissions by requestYour children can request your permission via e-mail to view blocked sites. Family Safety lets you decide on a case-by-case basis what your kids should be allowed to see. Improved performanceThe new desktop product and online service are faster than before, so keeping your children safe takes even less of your time. Online accessAt work or at home, you can access Family Safety online to monitor your children's activity or revise settings.
With Family Safety, you can approve or disapprove new contacts in Windows Live Spaces, Windows Live Hotmail, and Windows Live Messenger, so you know who your children are talking to online.
